The historic Armory Square district of Syracuse was a bustling industrial center during the mid and late 19th century. At the turn of 20th century, more than 20 hotels serviced the area and the railroads that were its lifeline. The Jefferson Clinton Hotel, built in 1927, is one of the last surviving hotels, the others having been demolished or relocated. Today, the refurbished hotel prides itself on its venerable history, as well as its eco-friendly policies, from the use of "green" products to clean and service the hotel to locally grown organic produce served at breakfast.
Amenities: 60 over-sized suites and 8 "European" rooms offer plasma televisions, DVD players, speakerphones and complimentary wireless internet access, suites have full kitchens. State-of-the-art exercise room and complimentary hot buffet breakfast with omelets cooked to order.
