Way Off the Beaten Path is a small boutique located in the downtown area of Syracuse, NY known as Armory Square. It specializes in various textiles including tank tops, tunics, skirts, pants, tapestries, sheets, blankets, curtains, and more. All textiles are made of the finest natural materials including silks and cotton. Many of the designs are unique creations by owner and artist, Angelique Mango. She also carries handmade jewelry in a range of silver and gold set with natural precious and semi-precious stones. One special stone we carry is called Larimar and it can only be found in one mine in the world located in the Dominican Republic. Angelique has a personal relationship with all of the people who produce her textiles and she travels to India and Thailand on a regular basis to work with them on developing skills that will provide women with a sustainable income. Please come in and explore the shop and tell your friends about our products. We are currently working on getting a website up and running so that online shopping will be a possibility.
