The Business... Square Sun Tanning, Inc. opened its doors in April 2004. It is a family-owned and operated business located on the second floor of 136 Walton Street in the heart of Armory Square in downtown Syracuse, New York. This upscale tanning salon caters to an upscale clientele. Our customers are mostly professionals that live and/or work in the downtown Syracuse area. We tend to our customer needs and expectations by providing outstanding customer service and by paying close attention to every detail of their tanning experience with us. Cleanliness, courtesy, and professionalism are of the utmost importance in our business. Think about it..what other business requires their customers to get naked? Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable.whether it's about skin types, recommended tanning times, or lotions..they have the answers. The Tanning Beds... Square Sun Tanning has four new, state-of-the-art tanning beds and we have the capability to expand to eight beds in the very near future.and to 15 beds in the years to come. Our Sollux beds are 36-lamp beds with triple-facial tanners. They are built for comfort and speed.15 minutes once or twice each week is all it takes to keep your tan just right. In addition, our Sunmasters are 32 lamp beds with a 20-minute maximum tanning time. The are extremely comfortable beds with a wide surface area and low to the floor for easy in and out. The New Bulbs... Tanning beds lose their effectiveness as the bulbs get older. That's why it may take longer to tan or your results may be negligible (or undesirable). Our bulbs are always new. We perform regular maintenance (including complete bulb changes) after every 400 hours of operation. More frequent bulb changes means hotter, more intense bulbs for our tanning customers..we sell our used bulbs to our competitors. The Community Affiliations...
