April TACNY Junior Café Scientifique, 9:30 to 11 a.m. April 15 at the MOST, 500 S. Franklin St., Syracuse. TACNY Junior Café Scientifique features an informal discussion with a scientist, engineer or technologist every month during the school year. Mark Arrigo, CPM, a project manager and principle scientist at Parsons Corp., will lead a discussion aimed at middle school students about habitat restoration, drawing on work done to Onondaga Lake. Students must be accompanied by a parent or adult. After the event, students and their parents are invited to tour the MOST’s exhibits for free. The event is sponsored by the Technology Alliance of Central New York in partnership with the MOST. A light breakfast is served before the event.
